Janis Charteris is a BACP Accredited, UKRC Registered Independent Counsellor and CBT Practitioner. Janis works within the Cognitive Behavioural Therapy Service for the NHS, in GP Practices and Clinics throughout South Bedfordshire in the Chiltern Vale Area.
She has her own private practice in Ampthill; The Ampthill Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy (ACCP). The Centre also offers a Low-cost Counselling Service (Humanistic and Integrative), and details can be found via her Web site. She runs workshops for students studying on three year counselling courses, and also teaches CBT to qualified counsellors as part of their Continuing Professional Development.
