I offer individual counselling tailored to the needs of the client. Having qualified in 1986 and practiced full time since (majorly in college & university settings; more recently in private practice), I have integrated a considerable variety of practical and theoretical skills and concepts into my work. I believe in working in ways that suit the client's needs. My core training has been in Gestalt and the orientations I have integrated, over the years into my own way of working include - person centred; CBT; Brief; psycodynamic; and TA.

Issues I can help with
The only issue I choose not to work with is gender transformation. Otherwise I have dealt with most issues that occur. I am especially experienced in abuse issues; depression and anxiety; relationships; bereavement.

Session details
My practice is conducted from the Centre for Chinese Medicine, 107 Walter Rd., which is in central Swansea. Sessions are 50 minutes (unless there is a therapeutic need for this to be otherwise) and weekly or two weekly. Presently (April 07) my fee scale is between £35.00 and £60.00 an hour. I discuss the fee at the first session with each client.
