I work as a psychotherapist and counsellor at the City Psychotherapy Service (the CPS) which is located in Shoreditch on the border of the City and Eastern areas of London. We are within walking distance of Old Street and Liverpool Street tube and mainline stations. Furthermore the practice is close to many accessible bus routes running North, South, East and West of London. The
City Psychotherapy Service offers different type of treatment according to the client's need and what develops from the initial consultation:
Short term, focus-based therapy for specific problems (6 to 12 sessions)
Medium-term support counselling and psychotherapy (3 to 12 months)
Long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy (1 to 2 years, or more)
I would describe my theoretical approach as integrative and psychodynamic. I see individuals for short and long-term face-to-face work. I have worked in a variety of settings, such as St Bart's Hospital in London and MIND. I also currently enjoy working with refugees and asylum seekers at the Multi-Ethnic Counselling Service in Waterloo. I also practice in French. I am accredited with UKCP and a member of both the BACP and the BPS.
